Rememberance for 9/11
Here we are once again remembering a day noone should ever forget. 9/11 and the tragedy that happened to the men and women that died that day. So today let us remember them by lowering our flags to half mass or in any way that you can.
Today I am going to our American Legion Post 16 Mart Gentry post to lower our American Flag to half mass.
We should also remember that we are not untouchable as a Nation.

I remember what I was doing that day when I saw it happen on the news. What were you all doing?
I was getting ready for every other day of middle school. I was with my foster parent and he was watching the news. It was the talk of the day. Me being so young I didn't get the weight behind the actions I was seeing. Yet now as an adult I see what it was, and every day appreciate what those that helped and fought have done. I thank you all for doing what you felt was right. I turned 13 the next day and every year I am reminded of those that have their lives so some could live.
*bowing my head in reverence*
