Xbox Live Gold

As many of you know I've only been on Xbox for 10 weeks or so(having been a Sony fanboy since ps2) so I'm not really used to the whole paying subs to play multiplayer so I'm a little confused

Basically I pay my xbl gold subs monthly(more expensive but works better for me) and have just renewed my subscription as it was due to run out on Friday, but have just checked my account and I'm now apparently paid up until the end of June.

Checked my bank and Microsoft account and I've only been billed £5.99 so any idea why I'd be given a free month or if it's a glitch of some sort?

No I got 14 days, like I said, no money has been took out of my account tho so must be a freebie for some reason

I wouldn't ask questions and enjoy the extra free time 😃.

I got a free month a while back for playing MCC during it's god awful launch. something similar happened for me once, said I had a sub for an extra 6 months even though I didn't pay anything... was good for like a week and then I needed to renew. Microsoft is weird.

Sometimes it takes a few days for the money to come out of your account

my banks really good for that, it deducts my balance the minute funds are requested, only time it has ever failed was when I ordered my xbox ironically, lovely overdraft that month

It could be a deal for xbl membership. I know my bank is also really good about the funds being taken out as soon as it it requested.

Just checked online, my statement is all up to date, no pending purchases whatsoever but the 1 month has come out so I'll just enjoy it and if it's an error I won't have lost anything
