Change CAG DoGG Award For Destiny

I can't stand crucible and I suck at it because I don't like playing it (meaning lack of practice)

ok now that I've gotten that off my chest (breath)

I just played well over 10 games of crucible with the new recruit and so far he's really good but getting the deaths down when People have golden guns is a pain in the fucking ass.


Down to business:
If we are accepting recruits for destiny as a soft opening (never turn away good recruits) we really need to hammer out the awards so we aren't using recruits as test subjects. Let me know if there is anything I can help with to facilitate this getting done.

I was never a fan of using PvP as a basis for membership with Destiny. That's now the main focus of the game and with MMO's, PvP isn't why people get the game. There are people who will literally never touch it because it's not what they like to do.

CAG DoGG (Destiny) award:
(this is For membership ONLY and is not related to marksmanship)


1. 2 crucible matches with positive K/D wins.
Must use Two different Sub-classes

2. 3 heroic strikes (10:1 K/D): must utilize a different Sub-Class on each strike.
Must utilize different weapon set on each strike
(primary, secondary and Heavy)

3. 3 regular strikes (50:1 K/D): recruit may use any gear set or sub class



(Recruit must have a CAG DoGG member in their team for all requirements, proof of obtaining each requirement will be posted to the forums with CAG DoGG members in game name/forum name)

(Award can only be achieved with recruit using their Main Guardian so as to show proficiency with that Guardian)

(CAG DoGG members evaluating recruits should post a reply with recruits proof of achieved requirements)

I'm a little confused here. I thought the marksman medal is used to become a full noon casual member. The only way to get your CAG DOGG ribbon is to obtain your marksman badge. Why would you make a separate requirement outside of the marksman?

I've been trying to make this award so that it met his requirements along with any concerns that anyone brought up:
1) Reduced crucible requirements
2) Added more variety for strikes
3) Got rid of Light requirement
4) Got rid of member recommendation

I hardly ever do anything for shits and giggles unless there is a good reason for it ( Gotta have fun when you can lol)

Casual/reserve members receive the Dogg ribbon only when the time of their recruitment comes to an end and they are deemed a fit for CAG

100% my fault. I was waiting for something that didn't happen. I wasn't trying to get you involved Cheech I know you are busy and was only trying to explain why the award was being structured differently than other awards. I won't bring your name up again until something is hammered out and atleast has an example of what the medal should look like.

We need to trial this award so We can get any kinks out of it before the Big push for the Fall recruitment. Unless someone has a better idea or something that needs to be tweaked, this needs to be tested out in the field so we can make sure it's what we want to test recruits. Feedback from members helping the recruits would be greatly appreciated. (Maybe even have a couple of current members run through the awards requirements to test it; I'll do it and have someone grade me while we are both taking notes to what works and what doesn't in the next few days.)

Ill start working on the other awards and have people vote to which ones should get done first later today.
