The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Seen it mentioned a few times but think the game is awesome enough to start a new thread on.... anyone looking to buy this game? anyone a fan of the series and/or bought oblivion and even before that morrowind (will show peoples ages ;) )
I'm definately going to get it but for now am hanging back because think the awesomness of the 2 major shooters (no names needed) will be taking all my spare time.... at least up until christmas ;)
Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I already have BF3, MW3, Forza 4, Madden and NCAA 12 football to keep me busy until the release of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.
I don't think there is a game about to be released that I am waiting for like Ghost Recon.
Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I am definitely getting Skyrim. I mean I loved Oblivion, more recently Dragon Age 2. My only problem will be balancing BF3 and Skyrim. :P
Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
That is why I don't buy too many games. I am neglecting the shit out of Madden, NCAA and Forza 4 right now because of BF3 and MW3.
Can you guys give me a quick summary of what the game is about?
Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Skyrim's main story revolves around the player character's efforts to defeat the nordic dragon god Alduin who is prophesied to destroy the world. Set two hundred years after Oblivion, the game takes place in the land of Skyrim in the midst of a civil war after the assassination of the high king. The open world gameplay of the Elder Scrolls series is continued in Skyrim, as the player character can explore the land at will and ignore or postpone the main quest indefinitely.
Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Hmmmmmmmmmmm...how long is the game?
Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Well I've heard that if you just play the linear main quests only you can finish in 20 but who really does that? They said the game has like 16 square miles of land to discover and whatnot
Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Midnight Release! Should be pretty epic....
Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
16 square miles! holy fuck dude that is one big ass fucking world!
Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
This game is going to be sick if its anything like Oblivion(which took me damn near a whole summer of commitment to completely conquer). Like Silva I wish I had the time for it now, but Christmas time sounds like the time I'll be jumping into this one. I'd love to see Cheech on this game, I think it'd be quite the culture shock for him. I could see him in the assassin's guild, messin fools up for money. :ar:
