Your headset?

What headset do you guys use? You can include surround systems as well. I use Tritton AX 720's. Those things are just amazing. They cost $120 but are DEFINITELY worth the buy. When I first started playing S&D in COD4 I had no idea about gaming headsets and the advantage the give you. Later on down the road I bought a pair of $70 Turtle Beaches. They were alright. However trying to communicate with people just led them to respond with, "What was that?" because I would break in and out. So about half a year later I invest $120 in my Trittons and I can hear and talker alot clearer. Plus the surround sound is an added boost. If you play S&D, having a great headset is a good advantage.

I have the regular xbox headseat, but I have a fucken' Sony surround sound with over 1500 watts I think it is. I turn that sucker on and I hear every thing!

I was about to say if all you had was an original headset, you'd be at a disadvantage. xD

OH no man, I have had my surround sound since before surround sounds existed , I made my own surround sound back in the days out of a tape player, a car amp and some 10 inch woofers and some highs, mids and tweeters.

I used that to play metroid on the OG Nintendo, Madden on SEGA, and RAINBOW 6 on the Playstation. Then came SOCOM and the rest is history!

Nice man. Having a nice surround sound system/headset also makes the game sound greater. Like it really immerses you in the game. When I put on my headset, its like I'm putting on a military helmet gearing up for my tour of duty.

Oh hell yeah dude, I hate it when everyone is home, I have an 11 year old nephew who goes to bed at 8 pm, so i have to turn on my surround sound before he goes to sleep...It's funny, when Rainbow 6 Vegas first came out, we had just moved into this area called San Jacinto, Middle-High Class area. Well I was playing RSV early one morning and forgot about the alarm system being on, the gun fire in the game when shooting through the windows made the alarm think someone had broken our windows....I started hearing a beep beep beep, i would turn the volume down and mute and the beep would go away...I turned it up again and again..beep beep beep, after about 3 minutes I hear bang bang bang on my door, I go to the front door and there are 15 cops outside with their guns drawn...

As soon as I opened the door they took me down and rushed inside..clear the house according to them... ...finally they calmed down and asked what was going on..I told them I was playing RV6 on my 360...

Well the company has a 2 way intercom set up...if something is going on they call you through the 2 way, the operator heard all this gunfire and called the cops....

Hahahaha. Wow. Interesting story man. All my parents hear is me talking to myself. So they peek in time to time to make sure I'm still sane. xD

That's how my parents used to be with me back in the days.....but yeah dude that day was funny...all those cops almost made me shit mah pants!
