Wow, how can you even answer this question?

I have seen sports and it's athletes and competitors for almost 40 years now. I have seen players from Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, John Elway, Ricky Henderson, Pete Rose, Wayne Gretzky, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird and others.

But out of all these great players I will have to throw one out there that some of you guys will be like huh!

Nolan Ryan to me has to be the greatest competitor ever. I saw 3 of his 7 record MLB no hitters. The first one vs my Dodgers in 1981, I still remember everyone's excitement that day.

Nolan Ryan threw a no hitter that year late into the season, there were a total of 3 no hitters that year and none for another 2 years after that.

So why Nolan Ryan though right? Well it's simple, the man threw 7 no hitters, by himself ! He didn't have assists like Michael Jordan or the the support cast he had in Rodman, Kukok, Pippen, Grant and others. He didn't have Jerry Rice, Roger Craig, Dwight Clark or other players to really say that others could be attributed to his individual success.

But even though I mentioned Nolan Ryan my choice for greatest sports competitor even though I never saw him play is Soccer Legend "PELE". I don't even have to say why, do I?

If you wanna go the route of baseball then i am gonna have to say Babe Ruth all day... that man was a beast and would ripe your shit out the field and not think twice about it... of course that was before steriods lol
