Battlefield 4 - Day 1 Observations

I'm havin a good time with it so far, visually much better than bf3. Gameplay seems tougher than bf3 was but maybe im rusty. Unlocks really are not that hard to achieve, I've just been playing tdm and domination more than any other game type so i can get my unlocks quicker. Premium is GREAT,so many advantages to buying it. I also really enjoy the whole battlepacks idea, and with premium you get a gold battlepack every month, so it essentially means it unlocks dope camos,sights,attachments,etc,etc.All in all its been a good time. Guarantee it will be a STUNNING game of the next-gen console.

Nice . Iv been looking at multiplayer gameplay and it doea look sick as hell . So I can't wait to check it out

All in all, it's a great game.

The major annoyances are the freezes and the lack of a friend's lobby, where everyone gets together before going into a room. This is making it hard to get everyone together because the game fills the rooms very quickly.

The graphics are good and leave me wondering how much better they'll look on next gen (fingers crossed). I didn't find the gameplay very different .. the hit boxes feel the same as BF3, a product of 30 fps, maybe.

It's still a bit annoying not having all of the good stuff unlocked but it is fun to be unlocking things. I know the COD community can relate.

We are still feeling out the maps. Some of them are too open for my taste, like vast openness that makes you not want to run across it b/c it's far and snipers are lurking.

If I have a worry it would be for the Recon class, snipers. That class really got a buff in this game and many of the maps allow them to be high up, overlooking large areas. Seems to be way too many snipers in each game, especially TDM.
