We don't get any capture points by defending nodes or having lots of nodes on the map. We only get the XP bonus for that mode and keep another clan from getting points on that node. If we want to win the Clan War, we need to focus on capturing nodes that we do not have. And having someone knock us out of the node leader position allows us to gain capture points on that same node.

What I'm saying is that if we keep playing tdm, I.e we had 35 wins left on it until we would not have it, if we were to play with a squad of 6 and win a tdm match, that 35 would go up to 41...that is what I'm trying to say

And what I'm saying is that I don't think there's any point to defending the node. You don't get capture points by defending. It would be better to lose it then work to regain it. That would rewards capture points.

If our focus is to have XP bonuses for game modes we like, then we should focus on keeping those nodes. But if our focus is to actually win the war, we need to be using our time to capture nodes that we don't already have, especially ones that are open because we won't have to work to reduce the leader to zero.
