So people that camp are bitches and camping is not a tactic?
Just so you know, "camping" falls under the tactics category of "Ambush" and the use of tracker sights is not a "tactic" but a weapons system attachment used for the acquirement of targets.
After COD 4: Modern Warfare came out, out the door went the "tactful" gaming that games such as Counter Strike, Rainbow Six, SOCOM and Ghost Recon were so well known for. Clans were born in the years of these games and "clan matches" were a thing of beauty.
You could play a single match of "last man standing" with no re-spawns that could last up to 3 hours and not one person complained when they died. Now you have all these bullshit game modes that have completely destroyed what "clan" and "clan matches" where all about from 2002 to about 2008.
The COD series wanted and did introduce their COD series to the casual gamer and made it so that anyone could pick up a controller, play their games and feel like a pro. Their "pick up and play" theory proved itself and spread like a wildfire in the gaming world. Now the arcade style players are getting a taste of what us the "Tactful" players got when COD 4: Modern Warfare slapped us all with in on November 5th 2007.
You are probably one of those players that thinks going 34-20 in a game is being a beast right? If that is the case, CAG and really any clan out there that is a real clan will tell you that what you are complaining about is really a selfish outlook about gaming and being part of a clan is not for you.
After reading this you will do one of two things, you will either feel insulted and want to leave or you will take this as constructive criticism and find other like minded gamers here in CAG that like to play your style.
CAG was founded on the sole principle of "Tactful Gaming" and over the years we have succumbed to the influence of unorganized gamers and gaming that the COD series so forcefully and with conviction introduced to the online gaming world.
We turned away so many players because they were just not willing to play "tactful" and we had many good players practically begging us to allow them to join CAG even though they were aggressive "run n gunners" all because of the COD series.
But with such players and gaming comes more than just unpleasant online gaming experiences but also arrogant and unwilling gamers who just don't want to play organized games and accept teamwork as the main concept that leads to success the ability to achieve a common goal.
In order to win you need "teamwork" and when you have great teamwork, "tactics" can be executed to perfection. CAG has always been about "teamwork" and not about "I"s and "Me"s.
It is probably to late now for us here at CAG to again deny entry to those type of gamers, but just maybe this is something I will have to seriously consider doing once again.
Hopefully you find other gamers like you here in CAG, but if you don't there are plenty of clans out there that have gamers like you.
So good luck in what ever you choose to do, but CAG is first and foremost a "Tactful" clan by nature and will always be.
