Same sort of thing happened over here in Northern Ireland.we live under British rule and her majesty queen Elizabeth with the Union Jack to symbolise this.in early 2013 the government decided to take the right to have our flag flown all year round away from us.this created a lot of chaos,rioting (some peacefull,some not so) and anger.it felt like the government is slowly trying to change or heritage from what we know it.now or flag gets flown a few days of the year on our city hall unlike it used to.
