I've just watched a few of this Phsyco Dad on YouTube...and yeah the kids should be working but dayamn. Hell, I started work at 15 and still went to college.

The Dad however is quite the cunt and unreasonable. After watching him smash the kid's brother's laptop and then the kid runs for his life cos his brother is after his blood...it's just a bit much. The kid did deserve something after the setup but...

This has to be staged right?

Don't get me wrong...I'm a firm believer in discipline and pulling your weight, just ask my eldest. But there are ways and means. Personally...if my father did that shit to me...I'd probably be maladjusted now and he'd probably be six feet under.

I for one am glad I have a job and have paid for all my systems & games. But I do respect my dads wishing of doing other things besides gaming. I've never gotten to a point where he would destroy my games lol. I guess since I work and buy my own shit (games n such) I kinda lay low on helping out around the house to justify my gaming habits. I work, gonnah start school as well so I'll be busy. I think they rather have me play games then be around idiots (my x best friends who do drugs) ... so its a win win lol

I think the morale of the story is that theirs more to life than just video games and if we manage our time wisely we can do everything and still have fun.

So yeah, that's what happens. The kid didn't get this maladjusted, hyperactive and egocentrical on his own. He learned that he could get away with it, and the father and mother didn't do anything until they had already fucked him up.

He was already scared out of his mind. Maybe at that moment the best thing to do would have been to just sit and talk to his son. This has got to stop. Im taking these games until you find a job and do more around the house. People now a days lack the re·spon·si·bil·i·ty to actually teach their kids. Kids in general need to get out of the damn house and use their imagination to entertain themselves. I cant tell you how many hours as a kid i spent with a hose in my hand spraying the cotton falling from the trees, or countless other things that required imagination. We as a whole have gotten lazy and fat. Its time to get with the program and get out and do something you enjoy. There is a hell of alot more to do outside than sitting on your ass playing games. Dont get me wrong I'm a gamer too, but all things in moderation.
