I saw it and the Exorcist, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and the Last House on the Left the same night ... HOLY SHIT !

Seen them all,in a big horror movie fan but more so the older gen movies.
The older Chainsaw massacre was brilliant, the weirdness of the family behind it in my opinion is what added to the scare factor.Gunnar Hansen played the part with precision.
The exorcist was just down right freeky due to the fact that it was based off true events and the last house on the left was crazily fucked up.
I loved them all!!

I am really sorry to have to pour a little sand in the the tea here but.......... http://www.texaschainsawmassacre.net/Convinced.htm It's a hoax. Now it is movie series evolved from the true history of Ed Gein. Check about Ed Gein on the Wikipedia. Now the movie?... down right creepy.

Yeah it is completely fictional, too weird to be the truth.
I'm familiar with a lot of the serial killers from the US as let's face it they where all pretty big with the headlines,Ed Gein being one of many of the crazies.Psychology around serial killers I find interesting(some people may find that crazy but the human mind is really unknown to a degree)like what motivates them to carry out the monstrous crimes they committed and in the US their pretty unique with that factor.
I'm from the Uk and must say we have our fair share of famous serial killers (the Yorkshire ripper, Suffolk Strangler,Fred and Rose West, and not to mention the one with the highest potential body count in Harold Shipman but the real deals on American soil, probably due to the fact that the US is such a bigger country too.
