American Solar Eclipse 2017

Not sure if my America brotha's and sista's are aware of this but next year you all will get the chance to see something that Iv wished I could see for a long time.
I know it's a bit early for this as the Eclipse itself doesn't happen until the 21st August 2017 which is pretty much a whole year away but I'm a big fan of anything lunar and space orientated.This is gonna be a once in a lifetime thing for the current generation so if your interested I'd be putting that date into a diary and heading to one of the spots to view it.
Video below shows the axis on which the eclipse path will pass over America and shows optimum points of view.Just wish I could be there to see it myself.

Hell yea, ive always wanted to see the eclipse. You hear it has a chance to be viewed here and there. But I thought it was always supposed to be at a certain point in the world to see it. That's crazy news...Easy date to remember for me too...heh...The Mom bday. Thanks for the heads up.

Yep...good shout bro. Love this shit. Being as high as I am...i can remote control my scope on the roof and enjoy much astronomical goodness above the light pollution. Shit's truly fascinating!

Just the sheer fact of so much out there and so much still potentially undiscovered. The ability to view something that unless seen you would actually second guess weather it's real or not.
There's far greater that just us.
