Minor Technical Difficulty...

so my usb drive i have tanks on randomly locked (write locked?????) itself and being tech ignorant i have no idea how to fix it.... so until i figure it out or get a new drive im not going to b able to play tanks for a while.... if anyone knows how to fix this it would b a great help

If you don't care, you can reformat the flash drive (assuming it still works) and re download the game.

you may need to use a program like ragedit.exe to bypass the write lock. if you do a google search you can find the program and a how-to

you can also do it through your pc's cmd screen.... you can find a how-to about this via a google search too

Has a good point. Throw the flash drive into your computer, go to START, right click on COMPUTER, click "manage". Once the menu pops up, click "Disk Management" under the "Storage" dropdown. Disk 0 will be your hard drive... DO NOT FUCK WITH THAT. Disk 1 should be your flash drive, assuming you have no other removable media plugged in. right click Disk 1, then click "format". On "Volume Label", call it something witty like "Big Daddy's WoT", File System: FAT32, Allocation unit size: Default. Leave everything else alone, then click OK. Leave it alone and let it do it's thing. If any prompts come up, acknowledge them. If it warns you that it'll be a full delete, tell it ok. This will reformat and delete everything on the drive. Once it's done, just toss that baby back in your 360 and re-download WoT.

ive tried reformating on my laptop and and said it couldnt because it is "write locked"... i contacted the customer support for the drive and evedently this is a problem they have... they informed me that if i cant get it to work theyd send me a new one free... im probably going to just get a new flash and not the same brand... BEWARE DO NOT BUY GORILLA DRIVE FLASH DRIVES!!!!
